Mold Building

The fulcrum of our business has always been short run and prototype tooling, but our capabilities don't end there. We handle everything from a 3X3 unit insert base to the largest dedicated bases with multiple cavities, side actions, hot sprues, and hardened inserts.

Molding

Ideal has recently added molding to our list of services offered. Through strategic partnerships we are now able to offer full project development from part design to production molding. Our partners, with whom we have built relationships often over decades, are satisfied customers of Ideal Tool & Machine that are now in partnership with us to deliver unparalleled flexibilty and knowledge during the whole process of bringing your products to market. We believe this is a truly unique option for anyone wishing to explore the advantages having tooling and molding done domestically rather than on foreign shores.

 

Design Services

Our talented team of designers and engineers is available for product and tooling design consultation. Proper design for injection molding results in cost savings over the life of the project and produces a better finished product. We know how to design for successful molding.

 

Tooling Revisions and Repairs

Part geometry changes. When you need to have your mold revised to reflect part design changes we hope you will consider Ideal. We've done hundreds (maybe thousands) of revisions, both to tooling we've built and tooling we didn't build. We are experts in finding ways to do revisions quickly, inexpensively, and of higher quality than our competitors.
Just as part changes are a fact of life, unfortunately tool crashes are too. Whether you've closed the mold on a part resulting in cavity damage or bent ejector pins you can count on Ideal to get you back up and running.
